%X "Lacs et Paléoclimats Malgaches" is an ORSTOM research project for understanding hydrological and hydrogeological behavior of lakes. Near lake Ihotry, we have carried out a geophysical survey using Schlumberger electrical soundings and Time Domain ElectroMagnetics soundings (T.D.E.M.). These two methods are efficient for small resistivity variations. Some limestones which are good aquifers are well-identified. A structural preliminary scheme is proposed along a profile.
