  abstract = {{C}arbon, nitrogen and phosphorus were studied in the {G}reat {A}strolabe {R}eef sediment. {O}rganic carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus percentages were respectively, in average for the whole lagoon top layer sediment, 0.19, 0.024 and 0.006. {O}rganic carbon was lower than this measured in the {F}rench {P}olynesian atolls, organic phosphorus was higher.
