  abstract = {{T}he toxicity of {F}usarium monoliforme strains isolated from maize in {N}ew {C}aledonia has been tested on one day {P}ekin ducklings. {T}oxic isolates of the fungus killed the ducklings within 6 days only when mixed to an unbalanced ration. {D}ucklings fed on a well balanced ration containing the same isolates survived and showed only symptoms of intoxication.
