  abstract = {{A}ntioxidants have been shown to help the growth of anaerobic bacteria. {W}e were able to grow six anaerobe species (including {F}usobacterium necrophorum and {R}uminococcus gravus) and seven aerobic species all aerobically in {S}chaedler agar tubes and agar plates with high doses of ascorbic acid and/or glutathione. {T}his may deeply change strategies for culturing bacteria.},
