  abstract = {{T}he {C}errados {B}iome is one of the major regions of {B}razil with 24% of the {B}razilian territory (204.106 ha). {I}t is mainly located in the center of {B}razil and corresponds to the whole {C}entral {P}lateau. {A}bout 49% of the soils are {F}erralsols and approximately 79.106 ha of these soils are dedicated to agriculture. {T}he main characteristics of {F}erralsols are a poor horizonation, a weak development of the macrostructure, and a strong submillimetric granular microstructure.},
